Islam is easy.

An invitation to Islam to all mankind

Qur’anic Verses

#11.   Qur’an 2:185:

“Allah intends ease for you, and does not intend hardship for you, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.”

This verse explicitly states that Allah’s will is ease, not difficulty, in the context of fasting in Ramadān (but by implication the principle applies broadly).

#12.  Qur’an 2:286:

“Allah does not burden any soul beyond what it can bear…”

  • This verse reminds us that the obligations placed upon a person by Allah are within their capacity.

$13.  Qur’an 94:5:

“So, surely with hardship comes ease.”

A short but profound verse reminding us that even when things are hard, ease accompanies them.

$14.  Qur’an 22:78 (as referenced in commentaries):

“And strive in the way of Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. It is the way of your father Abraham…”

  • From the commentary: “He has not made any hardship upon you in the religion.”
  • Emphasizes that the religion isn’t meant to be a burden.

🗣 Hadiths of the Prophet

  • The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Religion is very easy, and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights.” Sunnah+1

  • Not only that: scholars highlight the principle that the Prophet and the Shari’ah show ease and facilitation, not making things unnecessarily difficult. About Islam+1

📌 Key Take-aways

The theme: Islam as a balanced, moderate path — not extreme hardship.

  • Offer reflection questions such as: How do I practice the “ease” of Islam in my daily life? or Are there ways I’m making religion harder than it needs to be?
  • Encourage moderation, sustainable worship, avoiding burnout or extremism.
